Statement of Purpose
There exists within you an undiscovered Splendor.
This Spiritual Counseling practice is not affiliated with any specific religion or with religion in general; so neither does it imply the places of religion--church, temple, mosque, synagogue, etc. It is not about a new religion, and it most certainly is not a cult. You do not need to 'believe' in anything, you just need to come with an open mind. (I will not try to fill that open mind with my personal beliefs, they will remain largely private. Yours is ultimately an individual journey.) There is nothing to join. There is only one rule to follow: try to be truthful. And, if you persist, you will most likely find yourself being led—not by me, but by the Spirit that led you here in the first place.
This is individual counseling only. You can come and go as you please. All are welcome. This is an LGBTQ-friendly practice. Although I do not accept insurance, my rates are very affordable.
At the center of this counseling is a belief that we are all Spirit beings, that our existence is not defined or limited by a term of ‘life’ and ‘death’, that there is an unseen (and to most people unrecognized) elemental Spirit within us all. Your Spirit has been with you since before the beginning of time. It is the consciousness of your Soul, the you of you. Not your body, not your mind, not your emotions or feelings, it is meant to supersede all, but is all too often completely neglected—‘The world is too much with us’, the poet said.
The aim of this practice is to help you to acknowledge, realize, and cultivate that Spirit.
